“One of the reasons we stayed in Ukraine after the invasion,” said a TMAI professor and missionary, “is because we hoped the Lord would save more people as a result of the war.”
“Since the beginning of the invasion, eight people have repented in our church in Kyiv, along with eight others in another church that we’ve been helping. Especially encouraging is that six of the eight in our church had never come to church before. “They were trying to escape the shelling, and were saved from hell as well.” They were trying to escape the shelling, and were saved from hell as well. The brother being baptized in the photo above is someone who sought underground shelter at our church and found forgiveness and eternal life too!”
Reflecting on what he’s seen since the war began, he adds, “As I have traveled the country for over a year now, what has encouraged me most is seeing our graduates from our TMAI school in every corner of the country doing all types of gospel ministry in all types of war difficulties for the sake of our Savior Jesus.”
These men are equipped to shepherd and evangelize in part because God has used your prayers and financial generosity to help them grow in their knowledge of the word. On behalf of our field teams and graduates, thank you for your investments in their lives, and please continue to pray that God would save the lost as Christ is preached.
