“I can testify that from the very first day of my training at [TMAI Middle East]* something began to change in my life.”

Around the world, souls are hungering for the truth.
The lies of the enemy have catapulted our world into a dark and disastrous agenda—all to lead us away from what is beautiful and true. This has been a reality since the Fall, yet in our modern day, we feel it even more keenly. Confusion is the weapon of choice. Many have fallen victim to these poisonous influences, and have become fatigued, weary, and deceived.
In response, God has placed in the hearts of His people a hunger and appetite for the truth.
In response, God has placed in the hearts of His people a hunger and appetite for the truth. Not leaving His own to be deceived (Matthew 16:18), He uses His Church to preserve and illuminate the truth to a dark world (Matthew 5:13-16). And as the world falls deeper into confusion and deception, more men are being raised who are seeking to feed people the truth they are hungering for.
This is why TMAI is seeking your help in providing students the training they desperately desire.
Below is the testimony of just one of these men whose life has changed due to the scholarships that you have provided.

Elias** is a current graduate of a TMAI Training Center in the Middle East. He shares with us:
“I was born and raised in a country where finding churches that provide solid biblical teaching was quite a challenge. The church I attended, while free from heresy, lacked in-depth expository teachings.”
During his college years, the Lord called Elias to Himself:
“I can’t pinpoint a specific date, but I distinctly remember this period in my life when God worked in a marvelous and gentle way, gradually opening my eyes to the areas in my heart and behavior that required transformation. Since surrendering to Christ, my singular goal has been to honor and glorify Him in every aspect of my life. Each day, I rely on the Holy Spirit’s guidance to reshape my attitude, thought patterns, and speech. My commitment to obedience and sanctification stems from my desire to stand pure and sanctified in His presence.”
“My commitment to obedience and sanctification stems from my desire to stand pure and sanctified in His presence.”
This transformation and commitment to living out the truth that changed him eventually brought Elias to TMAI Middle East. There, the transforming work of the word continued:
“I can testify that from the very first day of my training at [TMAI Middle East], something began to change in my life.
Growing up, I thought I had a strong grasp of the truth, but everything changed when I started at [the TMAI training center]. This transformation was a result of the lack of proper guidance in my previous approach to studying Scripture.”
As Elias was taught to study, interpret, and live out Scripture, the change was dramatic:
“The knowledge I gained through the training had a profound impact on my life. It wasn’t just information; it became a responsibility and a source of eagerness to delve deeper and share this newfound truth with my family, my fellow church members, and the entire local Church.”

As Elias currently pursues a higher degree, his future goal is to embark on a missionary journey with his family to a different closed-access country. He shares:
“The essence of our mission lies in introducing and imparting the invaluable knowledge of expository preaching to laymen and Church leaders in the region. This form of teaching has been absent there, and we are committed to filling that void.
…we hope to be in the service of God and His people by having a positive impact on the local churches and families by fostering meaningful relationships, nurturing spiritual growth, and exemplifying the love of Christ.”
“Nothing can be worth investing in more that this precious gold.”
The significance of Elias’s conviction cannot be overstated, since all missions work begins with the preacher. All church planting, meaningful relationships, imparting knowledge, and evangelism cannot happen without first the training of men to rightly study and exposit the word of God. And this is born out of the sacrifice and conviction of these individual men, many of whom are risking their lives to preach the truth of the gospel.
To them, there is no risk not worth taking for the sake of ministering the truth to a dark and dying world. And as Elias states, “Nothing more can be worth investing in than this precious gold.”
As we look ahead to 2024, we need your help to train the students who are asking to be trained. Please consider supporting TMAI’s Student Scholarship Fund to help those who seek to proclaim the truth and shepherd Christ’s church around the world.
