The Opportunity
This year, TMAI has experienced an incredible level of growth.
TMAI training centers have the highest student enrollment in our history. With this exciting reality comes both opportunity and need.
TMAI does not exclusively train men in preaching and shepherding—we help to provide the resources necessary for this training and ongoing ministry. And as there are more students enrolled, more churches planted, and more people groups reached than ever before, the need for resources for these believers grows in tandem. Without you, this necessary work for the sake of the Great Commission cannot happen.
What follows is one example of how impactful your giving is to the work of the ministry and in the lives of fellow believers.
The Giving
This year, TMAI partnered with Todd Friel at Wretched Radio to get Bibles into the hands of more believers around the world.
In the Philippines, there are dozens of churches led by TMAI-trained pastors, and thousands of people attending these churches. However, many do not have access to a study Bible. Although Bibles are plentiful in this nation, many Filipino believers cannot afford resources like a good study Bible.
Without you, this necessary work for the sake of the Great Commission cannot happen.
This partnership evolved into a desire to get MacArthur Study Bibles into the hands of the students, partner churches, and attendees of conferences associated with our member school, The Expositor’s Academy (TEA). Through your sacrificial work and generous donations, ten thousand MacArthur Study Bibles were shipped to the Philippines.
It has been our joy to watch TEA distribute them to the needy and grateful pastors, churches, students, and individuals in their network.
The Receiving
Each of the men on the TEA team had the chance to visit the different churches when these Bibles were distributed and share in the joy as they received them.
At one church, a believer named Robert shared how he saw a post about the Bibles on Facebook weeks before they arrived, and specifically prayed that God might provide one for him. A week later, his pastor told him their church would receive some. With a MacArthur Study Bible now in his hands, God used your giving to answer prayer.

In a different city, TEA had the privilege to deliver some of these Bibles to Immanuel Fellowship Church. A man named Joey has been the church’s pastor for about three years, and is a current student at TEA, learning to sharpen his skill of studying God’s word and preaching it to His people. Joey came to saving faith while living in a restricted access country and returned to the Philippines with a desire to start a church and proclaim the gospel to his neighborhood. While studying and shepherding, he also leads a local jail outreach and Bible study with both policemen and convicts.
More than anything else, he now holds that which will shape his prayer, preaching, and counseling ministry. You have helped to give him the most valuable resource.
There is nothing more valuable than God’s revelation of Himself.
We pray that these Bibles would bear much fruit as the recipients study who God is, grow in their understanding of His word, and apply what they learn in their homes, churches, and wherever the Lord takes them.
