Hiloy belongs to one of the last indigenous tribes in Honduras. Hailing from a small village that’s inaccessible by roads, he pastors a church in his tribe’s native dialect.
Hiloy desires to be a faithful teacher of God’s Word, and he knew that he needed to pursue biblical training. He learned Spanish in order to study at Ministerios Evangélicos de las Américas (MEDA), TMAI’s training center in Honduras. There, in addition to his theology and preaching courses, he’s been diligently studying biblical Greek and Hebrew so that he can more accurately teach the Word of God to his congregation. Your gift helps equip godly men to be faithful expositors of God’s Word in their own country, culture, and language.
Students like Hiloy understand how precious this kind of in-depth biblical training is, and they’re willing to invest incredible amounts of time, effort, resources, and risk into pursuing it—out of faithfulness to the Lord and His Word. As God gifts and calls such men to serve as undershepherds of His flock, He’s also equipping many of them to bring the gospel into areas where not many of us would be able to minister—like Hiloy’s small village. We see this happening all around the world, as the Lord continues to bring godly men to TMAI to be trained to exposit the Scriptures. The cascading impact these faithful preachers are having for His kingdom is of incalculable eternal value.
By supporting TMAI, you’re ministering in a tangible way to pastors like Hiloy—and to their entire congregations. Your gift helps equip godly men to be faithful expositors of God’s Word in their own country, culture, and language.

If these kinds of opportunities for global gospel ministry resonate with you, please prayerfully consider helping make them a reality in the coming year. Year-end gifts from friends like you are especially important because they help set TMAI’s trajectory for the coming year, enabling us to make wise plans for extending pastoral training into even more locations and languages. We’re excited about all that the Lord is accomplishing through training centers like SEPE—and through faithful men like Hiloy. We hope you’ll partner with us as we seek to fulfill our Lord’s great commission to make disciples of all nations.
