Teaching by Skype

Update from Greg White
Irpin Biblical Seminary, Kiev, Ukraine
April 25, 2013

Greg Skype

With technology today you don’t have to be in the same country to have class. God has given me the opportunity to not only teach in Kiev, Ukraine, but to also teach at the European Bible Training Center (EBTC) in Berlin, Germany. However, I don’t always have to travel there, via Skype I can meet and teach my students, like in the picture above, I was able to have Greek Syntax class with Marco who was at his desk in Berlin.

My master students at EBTC are unique, five students representing five different countries, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Czech Republic and the USA. It is a great privilege for me to be a part of their lives, helping them to grow not only in their knowledge, but I trust in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Please pray for them as they minister full–time, study and lead their families, that they will honor Jesus Christ in all that they do.

Greece ClassOne nice thing living in Europe is that places are geographically close, this allows us to study biblical events where they happened. At the beginning of this month I was able to help lead a study group of master students in Greece. It was a great blessing to have Pastor Dr. Ted Bigelow with us in Greece. He taught through the book of Philippians which was a great time of learning and drawing closer to Christ. It was incredible to be able to visit Philippi, Thessaloniki, Corinth and Athens.

On May 23–24 it will be our privilege to have Dr. Alex Montoya with us here in Kiev. Dr. Montoya is Associate Professor of Pastoral Ministry at The Master’s Seminary. Beside full–time teaching for over 20 years at The Master’s Seminary Dr. Montoya has served as a senior pastor for over 40 years.

Dr. Montoya

Please pray for Dr. Montoya as he travels and speaks at our conference that God will keep him strong and that what he has prepared from God’s Word will penetrate the hearts of the attending pastors and move them toward more Christ-likeness. Dr. Montoya will speak on the following topics:

  • Run to obtain the prize from 1 Corinthians 9:24–27;
  • Priorities in Ministry from Philippians 2:14–18;
  • Purity in Ministry from 2 Timothy 2:1–10;
  • Perseverance in Ministry from Hebrews 12:1–3
  • Faithfulness in Ministry from 2 Timothy 4:1–8.

We want to thank you for your prayers and support.

By God’s grace,
Greg White
