Undergraduate & Diplomas

The programme is designed to equip Christians for ministry in local churches and to provide
theological training to people who are called to serve in the Christian church and on the mission
field.

Entrance qualification is a matriculation exemption or similar qualification.
The Diploma of Theology is currently a four year 240 credit programme. An application to the
DHET for this to be changed to a three year programme with 360 credits is in progress.

The programme is designed to equip Christians for ministry in local churches and to provide
additional theological training to people who are called to serve in the Christian Church.
To be accepted into the Bachelor of Theology degree each student must have passed the
second year of the Diploma in Theology programme with full passing marks (course average
above 60%).

The Bachelor of Theology is currently a four year 360 credit programme. An application to the
DHET for this to be changed to a three year programme with 380 credits is in progress.

Postgraduate

An application for a fourth year Bachelor of Divinity with 500 credits is in progress and will be
awarded in 2013.

To be accepted into the Bachelor of Divinity degree each student must have passed the
Bachelor of Theology programme and meet other personal, academic and ministerial
requirements as defined at the discretion of the seminary faculty.
