Germany-Flag-32 European Bible Training Center (Germany)

To love God
To preach His Word
To serve the church

The European Bible Training Center is a private Bible School, which was established in 2001. The EBTC supports the church by training preachers and teachers for the ministry of the local church in Europe.

It is our goal to provide our students with the ability to do the work of the ministry by becoming faithful men in the process of following Christ.

Our emphasis in accomplishing this goal is on expository preaching

Our emphasis in accomplishing this goal is on expository preaching. Prior to the two year Preachers Institute is a one year Bible Survey Program where we provide our students with the foundational knowledge of the whole Scripture. We additionally offer courses in Biblical Counseling and Masters Degrees in New Testament, Old Testament and Theology.

Our core program is complemented by various seminars, as well as our annual “Hirtenkonferenz” (Shepherds’ Conference).

Our focus

An Educational Model for Men Already in the Ministry

Men who are involved in the ministry usually are not able to give up their service in the church and career in order to attain a biblical education. For these men, the unique schedule of the EBTC is especially suitable because of a combined distance-education program and monthly classroom instruction.

Each of the three programs that are offered can be completed separately. A lateral entry into the advanced studies class or the Master class is negotiable with the school administration.

Correspondence Course

The students read and acquire many things on their own time schedule in this correspondence course. The homework is usually handed in via Internet. A time requirement of approx. 6 hours a week in the Bible Overview class and approx. 12 hours a week in the advanced studies is realistic.

This is quite the workload but it is manageable. It is important that you keep bringing to mind why and for whom you are investing time and money.

„Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.“ Colossians 3,23

Class takes place once a month (excluding summer vacation) on Friday and Saturday

In Bible Survey, classes start on Friday evening and conclude late Saturday afternoon.

In the Advanced studies the classes start on Friday morning. It is compulsory to attend the Hirtenkonferenz and take part in the additional seminars (twice a school year and each a week long).
