Training Programs

The theological training of SCBT forms the foundation of the ministry in Samara. Two levels of training are offered for two and three years, covering expository preaching, theology, Biblical languages, and pastoral ministry. The goal of SCBT is to train faithful men who will then be able to train others in the effective preaching and teaching of God’s Word.

Conferences

One of the ways that we can minister to pastors and church leaders in and outside of our region is through conferences. SCBT hosts numerous conferences throughout the year, aimed at providing leaders with encouragement, training, fellowship, and exhortation from the Scriptures.

Equipping Resources

In response to the high demand for solid, God-honoring materials, SCBT has translated numerous books DVD's, and other vital resources into Russian to equip Russian-speaking pastors, church leaders, and Russian Christians. Additionally, the training center hosts a Russian language website www.propovedi.ru where Russian-speakers can download literally thousands of resources from trusted English and Russian-speaking preachers.

I learned a number of valuable lessons in my training, but perhaps the most important lesson was to be confident in the Scriptures for both doctrinal and practical teaching. I also have been blessed to have been given the necessary tools for more effective ministry and I have gained a clearer understanding of what a true pastor and spiritual leader is supposed to look like.
