Prayer Update – September 15, 2015

“With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view,
be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints…”
Ephesians 6:18

Dear Prayer Partners,

Please pray for the new biblical counseling program which is beginning this month at CBI (Czech Republic). Pray that students would be encouraged as they understand how to apply biblical wisdom to their own lives and gain tools for helping others do the same. Also, please pray for logistics and finances needed for new CBI team member Jonathan and his family to be able to move to Czech Republic as soon as possible. Please pray as well for the Lord to provide funds for CBI to publish the MacArthur Old Testament Commentary in Czech.

EBTC (Germany/Switzerland/Austria) is beginning this academic year with 229 students in their seven different programs and thirteen students in the Master’s Program. Many come from difficult church backgrounds. Pray for their hearts to be open and ready learn truth which they can use personally and in ministry. Pray also for the final preparations for the new Music Ministry program which will start next month. It will entail four weekends and one retreat.

Pray for the students at MEDA (Honduras) who come from over 100 different churches. The need for solidly trained Bible expositors is great in order to correct and strengthen Christians who have been influenced by “other gospels.” Pray for fruit from a recently sponsored conference titled “Unmasking the Prosperity Gospel” which was an effort at exposing errant and shallow teaching to help God’s people discern what is true and what is false.

Please pray for the eight faculty and seven adjunct faculty at WGBS (Mexico) as they provide teaching at their main location plus six extensions. Altogether there are 200 students being trained through WGBS. Pray for God to sustain the instructors as they fulfill their responsibilities, and pray for the students who travel and persevere in order to attend the classes.

A new staff person is being added at TSBC (New Zealand). Please pray for Darryl and his family as they trust God to provide for their transition to this new ministry. Pray for Darryl as he focuses on developing communications for TSBC as well as lecturing.

Thank you for praying with us!
