For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.

Grace can be defined as unmerited favor. We do not work for it or deserve it. Our salvation is by grace. Everyone needs grace from God because of our sin and inability to do good deeds. We talk of grace in our salvation because we know it is out of reach without grace; no one finds salvation through good works. Praise be to God, one cannot lack anything regarding salvation when Jesus is his Lord and Savior. We need grace upon grace for us to receive salvation. Where do we get this grace? John 1:16 tells us where to get this grace—through Christ and Christ alone. Through Jesus Christ, God gives believers abundant grace. This immeasurable grace includes forgiveness of sins, redemption, and salvation. Jesus is full and rich in everything. Praise be to God, one cannot lack anything regarding salvation when Jesus is his Lord and Savior. A simple question to consider is, have you received this grace from Christ for salvation? If the answer is yes, then rejoice in God’s provision and enjoy His blessing. Abundant grace is yours. Nothing can separate you from Christ. If you recognize you are not a Christian and know nothing of this grace, then turn from your sin and trust in Him today. Look away from any of your works, deeds, or performance, and look entirely to Christ for His grace and salvation.
