Mišel is a student at the Theological Biblical Academy, TMAI’s training center in Croatia. Already leading music and a Bible study in his local church, he decided to enroll at TBA because he knew the school was committed to the Word of God. “I really want to grow in my knowledge of the Bible and of God. I want to grow in holiness and sanctification. I know whatever I learn here will be useful for my own life and for ministry in the local church.”
This was the first time that I carefully and thoroughly studied who God truly is and what His attributes are. Like many TMAI students around the world, Mišel has found his training both a rich blessing and a profound challenge—and not just because of the academic rigor. “TBA was a blessing because of the many truths that I learned and can now study deeper and apply to my own life, my sanctification, and my ministry to the church,” he says. “But it was also a big challenge for me, because of the professors and the truths that forced me to face the reality of my sin. This teaching throughout the year has pushed me over and over again to repentance.”
Some of the most valuable truths Mišel has been learning in the classroom are about God’s character. “This was the first time that I carefully and thoroughly studied who God truly is and what His attributes are. These facts fascinate me every day and they still are a source of joy and awe.” But in addition to what he’s learning in the classroom, Mišel is gleaning profound insights from the examples of his professors as well. “They continually encourage me with their work ethic and their relationship with us students,” he says. “In these professors, I see examples of what it looks like when the knowledge that they teach is put into practice.”
Mišel also has this message for those of you who support TMAI:
Thank you for your generosity, through which you have had a direct impact on God’s work in Croatia—and on individuals like me. Your prayers and gifts enable the training of many and produce valuable resources for the church. Your sacrifice makes it possible for us to be better equipped in handling God’s Word. Without my training here, I would not have the necessary tools in order to become more effective for the cause of Christ.
Please continue to pray for Mišel, and for the thousands of men like him around the world who are launching into ministry—equipped for faithfulness to Christ through the generosity of friends like you.
