“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

• On March 1-4, the Word of Grace Bible Church will be holding an annual and long-awaited conference Shepherding Today. This conference is a unique instrument of encouragement and equipping of those that serve in the church, helping them not only deepen and clarify their understanding of ministry, but also obtain motivation for its realization. This year’s topic will be the character of the pastor. Pray that each minister will benefit from these truths and become a better shepherd.

• With God’s help and diligent efforts of WGBI staff, we are excited about the opportunity to provide our new Academic Program that will operate online. This school serves as an answer to numerous requests and prayers of people that reside overseas. The first course begins March 13th and Dmitriy Zherebnenkov, institute dean, will teach Survey of an Old Testament class. This program is designed for Christians to lay a solid foundation of their faith and to be prepared to serve their local Church more effectively. We expect serving over 60 students. Please pray about this project, which is very new to us. Pray that God grants us wisdom in managing this school, provide clear teaching and solve all the technical difficulties. And most importantly, pray for the students, that the seed would sow in their hearts and, in return, bring forth fruit now and in the future.

• Word of Grace Bible Institute is opening a new branch in Seattle, Washington which will operate at Word of Truth Bible Church under the leadership of Pastor Paul Lvutin. Starting from January 21st, one of our instructors, Dmitriy Zherebnenkov, will teach a course, Survey of the Old Testament. Dmitriy will be traveling about 180 miles (one way) once a month for five months to teach this course. This program is designed to help students gain knowledge about God that is necessary to bare any type of ministry. Please pray for the effectiveness of this program, for the instructors and for the diligence of each student. Also, pray that God keeps Dmitriy safe during his travel times and gives him strength as he teach the same program at two of our USA locations – Seattle, WA and Battle Ground, WA. We trust that this program brings glorious fruits to God for the building up of His Church.

• Pray for the winter semester of the School of Spiritual Leadership in Battle Ground, WA (USA). This special class consists of 113 students. Most of these students are currently or potential spiritual leaders. It is designed to train student’s character that is essential to effectively carry out any kind of ministry. One of the unique aspects of this school is mentorship. Please pray that this school would help the development and maturity of each pastor. So the flock that God has entrusted to us would receive quality spiritual care. Pray also, that God will give wisdom to the instructors developing the educational material for the following semester.

• The School of Biblical Preaching in Rovno, Ukraine are now into their second trimester of the three-year-program. Please pray for all instructors as they desire to deepen their knowledge of God and as they work closely with each student, helping them sharpen their skills to preach the Word of God in an expository fashion. Pray for the availability of funds to run this school. Also, pray for the students’ faithfulness to the Word and diligence in their studies as they prepare themselves to stand behind the pulpit, “For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” (Eph 4:12 ).
