The training ministries of TMAI depend on developing and maintaining strong relational bonds with faithful churches around the world. We train pastors to preach every inspired word of God to their congregations. These congregations, then, are equipped by God’s Word to reach their regions for Christ. This kind of gospel partnership assumes that the single greatest need in the world is the Word of God, and therefore it prioritizes all energy and resources into ensuring that the Word of God goes out into the world.
In the Philippines, there are several faithful churches we are working with to ensure that the Word of God has witnesses throughout the nation. Four churches in particular have offered their facilities in order to host pastoral training in their regions. Not only do these churches recognize the value of theological education for their own pastors, but they are also earnest in recruiting faithful men from other churches in the area. These churches—which are also going to serve as training locations for TMAI—cover the full breadth of the Philippines, as seen below:
The first module has already begun at Living Word church in Cebu (central) and Soli Deo Gloria church in Davao (to the south). Two TMAI faculty members, Sean Ransom and Vincent Greene, and a pastor from Southern California, Tim Carns, have divided up the teaching workload.
Additionally, staff members Allan Luciano and Erwin Quimboy have been training men at their partner churches, Greenhills Christian Fellowship East and Fairview Fundamental Baptist Church, which are in the Manila area. The whole team also shares in training men at Boracay Grace Baptist Church in Boracay three times a year via modular courses.
The training has been received with great enthusiasm and the men are excited about the work God is doing. Vincent explains, “This is life for us. I have no plan B. We are committed here. This is it, and it’s a God thing, which keeps our feet to the fire. We love the men here and want to serve them. 1 Thessalonians 2:8 has really come alive to us, where Paul writes, ‘So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.’ This perfectly reflects life and ministry with these beloved churches in the Philippines.”
We labor to train preachers in every tribe and tongue so that the Word of God may be proclaimed around the world.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12), and as TMAI forges relationships with local churches around the world (and here in the States), the work of the gospel gains strength. We labor to train preachers in every tribe and tongue so that the Word of God may be proclaimed around the world.
If this is your heart’s desire as well, link arms with us at info@tmai.org. We want to work together with churches and missions-minded believers (you) to see the fulfillment of our Lord’s Great Commission. What else are we living for?
