Prayer Update – November 23, 2013

“Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer,
nor His lovingkindness from me.” Psalm 66:20

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank the Lord for the very encouraging time of mutual fellowship and academic dialogue among several of our training centers at the TMAI European Summit held in Germany the end of October. Ten countries were represented by member and guest schools. The quote, “If you don’t train the shepherd, someone else will lead the sheep,” summarizes their burden and commitment to be faithful to the task!

SETS (Albania) began their ninth academic year this fall with twelve students, two are new. Pray that the facility issues at the church where the training takes place will be resolved in a way that will not interrupt classes or decrease classroom space.

Pray for our instructors at PTS (India) as they present biblical content pertaining to marriage and parenting as this can sometimes be perceived as promoting “Western culture.” Pray for effective communication of these truths and understanding from the Holy Spirit to bring the principles to bear in the lives and families of the church leaders first of all, and then through them, to their congregations.

Thank the Lord for the effect of the teaching at WGBS (Mexico) on the life and church of one pastor whose initial contact to the school was through auditing one class. He was convicted for not teaching the Word to his congregation, asked their forgiveness and subsequently enrolled in classes along with four other men from his church. He is now in his third year, eleven others have since enrolled from his church, and twenty more are planning to enroll. Praise the Lord!

Please pray for the final 2013 conference and intensive class sponsored by Berea (Spain) taking place the end of November with instructor Adrian Donato. The twenty hour class will teach the fundamentals of biblical diagramming and sentence structure.

Several of our training centers have end-of-calendar-year graduation events coming up…Honduras, Italy, New Zealand, and South Africa. Please pray for these new graduates as they transition back to their original places of ministry or move into new ministries that the tools they have learned will be put to good use for the spiritual welfare of those under them.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
