Prayer Update – June 3, 2013

And they sang a new song, saying,
“Worthy art Thou to take the book, and to break its seals;
for Thou wast slain, and didst purchase for God with Thy blood
men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.”
Rev. 5:9

Dear Prayer Partners,

Pray for the students and teachers at Christ Seminary (South Africa) as they continue to diligently pursue excellence in their learning and teaching. The seminary is now in their 16th year and planning to offer more advanced degrees as they can be developed.

Thanks to technology, some of our training centers are able to multiply their ministries without the time or expenses of actual travel for professors or students! WGBI (Russian-multi-country) is continually working to improve their website and online courses. IBS (Ukraine) is also able to offer courses for Master’s in Old Testament students via distance learning. Pray for wisdom in further utilizing and maximizing this tool for training in effective ways.

Praise the Lord for the encouragement and fellowship for the approximately 100 attendees at the 10th annual Shepherds’ Conference hosted by our training center in Albania last weekend. Also, thank the Lord with us for the way He has supplied nearly all the funds needed for their upcoming school year, as we continue to pray for the remaining amount to be raised over the next months.

Pray for the 13 men who are in their last year of study at SEPE/MEDA (Honduras). Pray that they will finish strongly and that the Lord will clearly lead them to their places of ministry after completing their training.

The leadership of TEA (Philippines) is developing a 2-year plan for consistent teaching of pastors and church leaders in three locations. This will be accomplished by teachers traveling to these locations and holding classes for 2 days each month. Please pray for three families who are currently in the fundraising stage to reach their support goals so they can come alongside the current staff at TEA and help with this undertaking.

Please pray for Berea as they hold conferences in Leon and Andalucia dealing with Christ’s supremacy and sufficiency. Henry Tolopilo will be the guest preacher for local church leaders and Berea students.

Thank you for your partnership with us!
