Prayer Update—April 21, 2016

“ Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of
the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is inscrutable.
He gives strength to the weary,
and to him who lacks might He increases power.”
Isaiah 40:28 – 29

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank the Lord for the first ever Expositor’s Conference which was organized by PTS (India) graduates recently. They personally and sacrificially subsidized the conference in order to keep costs low for the attendees. They were hoping for 50 attendees, but 70 came! Pray that this time of mutual encouragement may become an annual event.

Some faculty from CS (South Africa) have the unusual opportunity to hold weekly Bible studies at a nearby, public university over the lunch hour with university faculty, staff and graduate students. They are going through Fundamentals of the Faith with around twelve people. This is occurring during a time of marked student unrest in all South African universities. Please pray that God would draw some to Himself and give them eternal peace in Him instead of striving for transient political change.

Pray for the staff at IBS (Ukraine) as they are stretched this year teaching a record-breaking number of students. Unexpectedly, increasing numbers of students are coming from the war-affected areas. Pray for their hearts and minds to be strengthened and encouraged by what they study and that God would protect them in their travels to and from the training center.

Pray for the next ITA (Italy) conference coming up April 29 – 30 on the topic of “The Gospel” taught by Larry McCall. Pray for the students in both northern (Verona region) and southern Italy (Messina) as they continue in their courses, some getting closer to graduation at year’s-end.

The staff at TBA (Croatia) are encouraged by the good reports of how God is using their graduates to pastor and plant churches. Please pray that God, even now, would begin drawing another group of at least six, solid students to come study at TBA this fall.

Pray for the staff and students at TSBC (New Zealand) as they move into their next series of classes: Intro. to Biblical Counseling April 29 – May 2, O.T. Survey II May 12 – 16, and Christian Worldview June 7 and 8.

Thank you for your prayer partnership with us!
